Colourful Characters

We have been creating colourful characters.

Which is your favourite?

Perhaps you could take one of the characters that we have invented and create a story using him/her/it.

Look forward to hearing from you with some of your stories… feel free to send us your stories and we’ll try to get our own ones back to you.

Or perhaps you might want to draw a picture of our characters. That would be cool.

 Anyway… enjoy!

The Unusual Teacher

The new teacher stormed into the classroom. The door slammed shut with a loud BANG! The sunshine outside turned to thunder. She boomed across the room,
“My name is Miss Hitty, “she shouted.
Everyone sat with there mouths wide open.
“I am your teacher for the rest of the year”.
Everyone sank back into there chairs. Her hair was coal black and sat her shoulders. She had dark round glasses and you could not see her eyes. Her smirkey smile sent a shiver down everyone’s back as she sat in the small chair at the front of the classroom. She glared at everyone through her dark glasses. You could tell that everyone thought that today was not going to be good.

Opening 1

The large bulbous figure squeezed itself through the tiny door. As it entered the room the smell of stale sweat wafted across the classroom. The children gasped in horror.

“Good morning children,” boomed the large figure. “I’m your supply teacher for today.”

The children gazed, open-mouthed, at the teacher. His long, greasy hair was glued to his head barely covering the large bald patch which shone in the overhead lights. His narrow eyes were hidden behind some strong spectacles and his large red nose looked like a rose which was past its best.

Mr Grunge lumbered towards the teacher’s desk and lowered his gargantuan body onto the chair, which complained loudly. The mass of his body hung over the sides of the chair.
